The blade in this case is of unknown manufacture, but high-carbon non-stainless steel made somewhere in Germany. It was given to me in college by a martial arts instructor who had found it while cleaning out his dad’s barn, and didn’t know what else to do with the bare blade. The handle was a piece of elk antler given to me by my father a few years back. The fittings are nickel-silver, a type of brass. The sheath also incorporates a deer hide from my father, and the finger guard is carved into an elk skull on both the top and bottom sides. << Back |
